Java Jack's Restaurant is a top-rated destination in Gros Morne National Park and has been recommended by reputable travel guides such as The Lonely Planet, Fodor's, and Where to Eat in Canada. Located in a heritage house painted in classic yellow with red detailing, the restaurant exudes a warm and welcoming ambiance.


The restaurant started as a cafe in 2000, serving coffee and bag lunches for hikers. Today, it has expanded to include a fun and funky restaurant upstairs where fresh fish & seafood are served with good wine and craft beer. Galliott Studio - Woody Point

The studio is only open during the summer months, from June until mid-September/October, depending on the weather.

Healthy and Homemade! That is Sherri's motto at the Turnip. The Turnip is a welcoming establishment, a little funky and a whole lot of comfy! Stay at this beautiful B&B in the far North of Gros Morne National Park and wake up to a handmade breakfast; from fish cakes to vanilla extract to purple pickled eggs! Sherri is known to source as much local foods as she can in all of her breakfast plates. She has even included duck eggs from our sustainable farm!


After breakfast, set out to take a leisurely stroll around the Moulting Pond or ramp up to adventure on our new hiking trail. Great mid-way point for exploring the GNP from Gros Morne to St. Anthony. Our property is cannabis-friendly and has a designated outdoor space.




Northern Peninsula


Cartier's Galley at Haven Inn - St. Anthony
