Indigenous
Fire Circle
Experience
Join us around the fire as we learn about Lauralee's personal Indigenous journey as an Acadian Mi'kmaq.
This experience is a meaningful experience with Lauralee Ledrew around the fire. She shares her personal experience and journey as a Newfoundland Mi'kmaq born in Northern Alberta on Cree Territory.
Through a sharing circle and storytelling, we will learn a little about Lauralee's Indigenous experiences growing up, history she has learned about the Mi'kmaq and the Beothuk and we will end the evening enjoying a tasting of fire-roasted fry bread from her mother's recipe box.
This event will be a meaningful and impactful conversation and experience for you and your family.
